Well this is one of my favorite photo manipulations of myself to date. I really like how the contrast and the eyes turned out and as you can see at the time of writing this post its the image I chode for the background to my site.
Well made this one for a friend of mine Katrina. Went with the good evil theme as you can see. The left half being all dead and evil and the right being alive and good. Was a pretty fun piece to create and Im pretty happy with how it turned out. Its always fun to make your friends look all evil.
Raven Haired Girl
Original Photo: -LINK-
Programs Used: Photoshop
Well I found the stock photo by Buscuittt on deviantart and came up with this idea to make some ravens part of her hair hence the appropriate title for the piece. Was a pretty fun piece to make and I used the usual techniques such as Masking out subjects, some blurs, overlays and such. Like always there’s a few things I would like to touch up but that’s life as an impatient artist
Hope you enjoy it.
Smoking Lady
Model: -Link-
Programs Used: photoshop
Well for this I started with a photo thanks to Faestock on deviantart. The original photo had short hair and I wanted long so I started by drawing in the hair. Then I felt I wanted a cold look so I changed the colours to blues and purples. The smoke was created with some smoke brushes and a lil freehand editing. Finished it off with the highlights to bring out the eyes and a nice blue background.
Spark Plug
Programs Used: Photoshop
Model: Me
Well this is one of my favorite photo manipulations I’ve done. I started of with a stock photo of myself and a picture of a spark-plug that I found around the net. I just wanted to make a surreal sorta peice so I added the background the gun and a little bit of wires for brains. In the end this is the finished peice. I do have this one as a print hanging in my house too
Death Elephant
Well I saw a contest on deviant art to create some end game bosses for a game called rift. I never win these contests but they are cool for practice and the fact they give you a direction to follow is also sometimes a good challenge. Anyways started off with an elephant skeleton from a museum added some water, reflections, skulls, clouds and this was what I got.
Death Express
Programs Used: Photoshop
A little morbid I guess but whats the fun in doing art if ya cant go a lil dark sometimes or in my case most the time. Found a picture of an old locomotive and thought Id make it into the Death Express. Lots of overlays, masking and various other filters and this is what ya get.
The Last Unicorn
Software Used: Photoshop
Well I figured the last unicorn should be an undead one so I created this. This one actually took me a few hours to do and I’m still not really happy with how it turned out but here it is anyways. I started off with a replication of a horse skeleton photo. Then added a bunch of clouds, overlays a skull for a moon and some colour filters. Added the crows to push the whole death thing and well this is how the final image came out.
Dragon Breathe
Model: Me
Software Used: Photoshop
Going threw all my stock shots of myself I found this image of me that was perfect for some sort of “smoke” type picture. I started of with some smoke brushes and drew in some smoke. Then looking at it I decided it needed to go in a new direction so decided on a dragon theme. After converting some lizard and fish images into dragonlike creatures I then decided I guess I should be a lil dragonish so added the horns and scales to myself. Like always there are alot of adjustment layers for blur and colour and such and this was what became of it all. Hope ya like
